SSI™ is a very professional organization dedicated to anti-terrorism and counter-terrorism and a variety of tactical and special operations training to all US law enforcement by the professionals who know the most about confronting and engaging terrorist and acts of terrorism, the Israelis. I attended the Homeland Security training course in Tel Aviv, Israel in July of 2005 and I have to say it was very thorough training and real time information relating to terrorist and terrorism. As deputy chief of the anti-terrorism and explosive devices section of the Jordan International Police Training Center, where we are currently training most all of the Iraqi Police Service (IPS) cadets, it was very beneficial information for me to expand on current training and to expand on our upcoming id="mce_marker".5 million IED training field that is set to go online in February of 2006. I would strongly suggest trying to attend any of SSI™ anti/counter-terror, tactical or special operations training programs. I know you will not be discouraged and will leave the program very confident in what you learned and ready to implement such with your own police colleagues and agencies.
Just a quick note about the SSI™ Israel trip and training ad that I got from your email. I just want to give you folks some feedback about the SSI™ Program. I have been a Police officer for over twenty years. I've paid my way to photo and forensic schools, defensive tactics and other programs during my career. I went with the last SSI™ group to Israel in late 2005 with some of the people that are testimonials on the ad. It was the best program I have ever experienced in my life. It was not only a great training experience, but an eye opener for me. It lets you see what life is about outside the sheltered USA. It's also very historical to visit these places. It gives you a profound respect for the Israelis and the struggle to create a safe place for themselves surrounded by danger. It opens your eyes to what we may have to deal with. It teaches you to pay more attention to world news and events. We were treated like diplomats while there by everyone from the Government and other facilities. It was worth every penny. I would love to go back again. Israel is a beautiful place and SSI™ certainly helped me see all of the important things on the Law enforcement side as well as meeting the greatest people. I felt very safe while there, enjoyed every minute of my time and I would recommend the trip to anyone that can afford to go.

I truly mean it when I say that of my 25 years in Law Enforcement and security and over 1,000 hours of training, few programs stand out in my mind, but this will definitely be one of them. Will push this program to all my co-workers and other officers. This was a course that is a real eye-opener. Case StudyA city located in the State of California with several well known amusement parks and sizeable public venues decided to better integrate their Law enforcement, Fire, Emergency management, Emergency medical and private sector security personnel while having them train together. The SSI™ program was chosen because of its innovative approach to study/visits and the well known hands-on only instructors the company uses either in Israel or the USA. Utilizing grant funding from the Department of Homeland Security the city was able to send about 15 members of all these agencies to Israel to the SSI™ Homeland Security program study program in that country. By seeing a system based on constant threat, and seeing the innovative Israeli approaches to the problems of security within a very working Democracy, the City was able to get a new take on security measures. Witnessing everything from Protecting Government buildings to learning about large-scale public events while getting briefed by senior defense personnel made a real different in their security approach to the City's institutions, retail outlets, schools, universities and public venues. Returning to the USA, changes were implemented as a result of the program. Tight coordination was achieved by the different agencies who now had real friends, that had undergone a real training experience together and forged a new understanding on an equal basis. Based on what US Homeland Security needs to know, the training is focused on the most important areas of Homeland Security:
I want to thank you all for the opportunity to attend the Israel security training. On both a professional and a personal level the training was outstanding. I don't think anyone can understand the issues that Israel has to deal with as a nation without the firsthand experience. The complexity of the training was invaluable to learning why there is a constant threat of terrorism for all Israeli citizens and how different security factions with in Israel have learned to take steps to prevent terrorism for their perspective areas. The training we received was very well balanced as to the many facets of security concerns that the police and private security have to deal with on a daily basis. It was invaluable to learn how the military, law enforcement and private security agencies cooperate and work toward a common goal. I don't know how SSI™ received approval for such a diverse group of security professionals to share with us their techniques for dealing with terrorist related security issues. The entire staff that SSI™ utilized all exhibited the up most professionalism.

Today in the world, terrorism is becoming a major issue because of the methods used by terrorist groups to complete their task. This trip has given me deep insights to understand terrorism at a advance level and how to counteract the methods used and deal with the situations on a professional level. The training in Israel is not only interesting from the theoretical side but we saw the practical aspects of the Israeli methods at work. While we were there we saw how rapidly they responded after an unfortunate attack and how in hours they had taken care of the scene and were well into the investigation stage. Just a few hours later action was taken by the Israelis against those who coordinated the attack. The level of cooperation and interaction between all the agencies was truly at a level that we can only imagine here.
The presenters were incredibly knowledgeable and credible, you could tell that they have been there and done that. To me that carried a lot of weight. 
This was a great learning experience! Not only the training but to be in Israel and see what I have been hearing about first hand could not be beat.
