Explosives recovered from Landikotal school

LANDIKOTAL: The security forces recovered a suicide jacket, improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and anti-tank mines from a science laboratory at a school in Landikotal town of Khyber Agency, official and local sources said on Thursday.
Abdul Nabi, a tehsildar in the political administration, told The News that the security forces and officials of the local administration had received tip off that militants had kept explosives, suicide jacket and arms in the laboratory at the Government High School No 1.
He said the security forces raided the school and recovered four IEDs, including two anti-tank and four anti-personnel mines, 17 rocket fuses, 21 detonators, 10 kilograms explosives, a computer and a suicide jacket.
