Program Description:

Sex trafficking involving minors and human trafficking involving modern day slaves is a heinous crime. However, it has become one of the most lucrative activities for organized crime and there is evidence to suggest that some of these revenues find their way to terrorist organizations.

Instructional objectives:

In this two-day course participants will learn to understand and confront this scourge on the US and understand how its tentacles cross the globe. Learn about the sex trafficking of children in the USA including: nature and scope of the problem with special consideration to the victims; child sex tourism and the American male; foreign sex traffickers. How to interview victims and interrogate suspects; legal and prosecutorial aspects of the problem and how to build a multi agency taskforce.
