At a training in Raleigh, SSI CEO Bradman calls attacker a terrorist
Although authorities were reluctant to call the attack perpetrated by Mohammed Taheri-azar a terrorist attack, Sol Bradman, the SSI CEO told AP that this was clearly a terror attack. Speaking at a training of over 300 Law Enforcement and other First Responders, Bradman pointed out that "in this new world of Global Terrorism a person does not have to be connected directly to a terror organization. Incitement is the component that leads to the attack."
Taheri-Azar confessed to deliberately hitting nine people on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus told a 911 dispatcher that he committed the act to "punish the government of the United States for [its] actions around the world," according to a 911 call released Monday.
