Guidance & Training for Maritime Security Crews

SSI provides courses for maritime personnel (Security staff and designated employees) that are designed to meet the requirement's of the IMO (International Maritime Organization) - SOLAS amendments - the draft text of the mandatory portion (part A) of the ISPS code, as well as the U.S.C.G regulation (NVIC) and General Security to defend against piracy, armed robbery and terrorism.

SSI has organized lectures, study groups, workshops and courses for security guards, couriers, investigative units, and maritime (ship, company and port-facility) security officers and staff.

The SOLAS amendments- the ISPS code - compliance commences on July 1st 2004

All courses have been inspected, approved and supervised by the Israeli Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor and Ministry of Defense. Israel's record in Port safety and concern for tight security speaks for itself. Courses may be held on board ships and are designed not to disrupt normal activities.

All courses are custom-tailored to client needs in keeping with IMO regulations.
