SSI All courses are taught by highly qualified Israeli instructors. 

We can customize this 60 hour program to a 40 hour program based on what your special needs are.

Day 1 – Introduction to Buildings Ops

 

  • Introduction lecture:  Short briefing of terrorist organizations and the relevant threats including CBRN threats we may face. (verbal) 
  • Case study presentation -   Taibe raid + Tulkarem raid (22/9/05 – raid on a complex with 3 fully armed Islamic Jihad terrorists).   (verbal)
  • Secure searches entries training – counter terrorism application - how to move tacitly and safely inside a building; what are the differences between HRT dynamic entries and counter terrorism secure entries; the method and tactics of searching in various rooms (single room, complex of rooms, corridor etc).

Day 2

  • Dynamic entries training – "YAMAM" method.
  • Infiltration training - covert movement drills (to the building) – the "DOT" technique – coordination between the forces.
  • Night ops – infiltration training to buildings including entries.
 

Day 3 – Building ops - phase 2.

·        Multi floor apartment's opsRaids on a multi floor building – a known location of terrorists filled by innocent civilians as well (not HRT situation), including explosive lab ops.
·        Planning, briefing and execution –  using air photos, blue prints,  planning the sequence of arriving the troops to the area (by foot or by vehicles and timing) taking under consideration main scenarios that we can face (from the regular up to worst case scenario) and such.
·        Case study presentation – " Tel Aviv Hotel Raid "
·        Command & Control.
·        Main topics of training (from phase 1 to the end of situation):
·        Duties of the Light/undercover group – how to secure the area covertly.
·        Infiltration training - covert movement inside building – work of the EODs, rappelling team and such.
·        Methods and tactical training of the Heavy group duties.
·        Methods and tactical training of how to take control of the control areas and lobby (like in a case of a hotel) prior to the assault (if possible) and in a stealthily way.
·        Methods and tactical training of the duties of the main strike team – various tactics to assault the room of the terrorists without jeopardizing the civilians in the building.
·        Methods and tactical training of the Stealth evacuating of the civilians occupied in the contaminated floor (if possible).
·        Methods and tactical training for the assault phase - The "Pressure Cooker" Technique or dynamic assault to the room.
 
·        Methods and tactical training of the EOD duties -inspection of the contaminated room after complete the arrest/assault.
·        Special application will be given on raids on explosive lab in a multi floor building.
·         Drills will be conducted using Simmunations.
  • Night ops – multi floor building ops.
 

 

Day 4 – Advanced HRT training + counter terrorists Vehicle assault ops.
·        HRT lecture + training –
·        Planning, briefing and execution of HRT ops.
·        Principles of HRT.
·        Methods of Intelligence gathering.
·        Proper deployment of the sniper team & the initial strike force.
·        Infiltration tactics.
·        Assaulting the building using special means (unconventional explosive breaching, K9, multiple entries, etc).
·        EOD missions during the assault
·        Procedures.
·        "Kill House" Live fire range drills – Hostage rescue drills and dynamic entries drills - Various complicated live fire drills including all the reviewed material.
·        Up to 3 rooms CQB shooting drills – 2 operators' drills.
·        Up to 3 rooms surprise live fire drills – 4 men drills.
  • Vehicle operations- Take down terrorists while in their way to execute their attack (driving and on foot)
·        Theory lecture

 

  • Take over a vehicle in motion, a static vehicle take down, motor arrest of pedestrian, the "L" ambush against suicide terrorists driving in a vehicle, vehicle take down by the assault vehicle.
·        Topics and sequence of training (field training):
·        Basic vehicle tactics – how to divide your line of fire, how to get suspects out of the vehicle in a safe manner, etc.
·        When to use of armored cars for an assault.
  • Take over a vehicle driven  by suicide bombers/armed terrorists – assaulting with vehicles, the "L" ambush technique, 
  • Static vehicle take down
  • Motor arrest of pedestrian
  • Various scenarios training, including vehicle assaults combined with pedestrian's arrest.
 

Day 5 – Concluding drill

·        Concluding drill of all material learned – main surprise drill (full scale drill).
