In a fascinating and insightful, packed three-day program, you are taken through the formative phases of the Islamic religion
and will understand the different branches of Islam, understand how these were formed and on what ideology they are based.
You are taken through a journey up to the present time, to really understand how extremism is organized in Radical Islam.
The Middle East has been and will remain a key area of interest to the United States and a setting for conflicts for many
years into the future. The region and its problems however, often remain unfamiliar to US military, intelligence, and even
foreign policy professionals and decision-makers. This course will introduce First Responders to the various critical issues
of the Middle East and prepare them for critical analysis of the concepts that have the greatest impact upon the interest
and national security policies of the United States. The purpose of this course is to give a comprehensive overview of the
historical settings and current political events that make the Middle East such a volatile region. Among the issues that will be
addressed are the sixty year old Arab-Israeli confrontation, on-going ethnic conflicts, unfolding nuclear proliferation,
emerging Radicalism in Islam, terrorism, economic, and demographic challenges.

In addition, you will learn about Islamic Culture - knowledge that can help you build strong relationship with Islamic communities -
most of whom can actually help detect radical threats:
- Life of Prophet Mohamed, Expansion of Islam
- Where does the hatred come from?
- Arab naming conventions
- The Legal wing of Jihad in America
- The Five Pillars of Islam
- Ramadan
- Domestic and International Terror groups
- Women in Islam and Female Suicide Bombers

You will also get practical hands-on information on recognizing Suicide Bombers, planning and changing protocols to respond to acts of terror,
the detection of terrorists through fake ID's and the basics of their tools such as IED and VBIED's. This is the definitive program for anyone concerned with detecting, preventing and responding to acts of terror. The program gives very
valuable insight into the thinking behind the Global Jihad and its manifestations here in the USA.

This program can customized and delivered as a two-day session. Contact Ileana Bustillo for details.
