(PRWEB) February 2, 2006 -- Security Solutions International (SSI), the Miami-based, Homeland Security training company, announced today that its very successful "Homeland Security Training in Israel" mission was again leaving on February 10th, 2006 and again on March 24th, 2006. The company will send 8 such training missions to Israel this year and in the process will train up to 250 US Law Enforcement officials in how the Israelis have managed to significantly reduce the amount of terror attacks against their Malls, Ports, Airports, Schools, Critical Infrastructure, and Government buildings.

"Law enforcement has always been very proactive in getting the best possible training to confront the terror threat facing our country," said Sol Bradman,CEO of SSI, "but up to now, there has been very little support from decision-makers at either the Federal, State or local levels to spend money to get our forces ready. That is just beginning to change and we are seeing a few areas providing money to First Responders for high quality training".

The trip aims to show the participants how Israelis go about their normal lives while being subjected to a very high level of security. Along with a daily visit to a facility to get the inside story on their security arrangements the participants will receive lectures on a wide variety of subjects: suicide terror, aviation security, car bombs, VBIED's and more. They will also get some hands-on practice with Israeli techniques in hand-to-hand combat and instinctive shooting. In Jerusalem, they will be hosted by the Minister of Tourism in viewing security arrangements in Israel's Knesset, Goverment Buildings and in the Old City of Jerusalem. Jerusalem, which is divided into 4 quarters (Moslem, Christian, Jewish and Armenian) is one of the world's potential hot spots but it has been kept peaceful for years. Participants will be shown the Israeli Police Command and Control center and see how that Peace is maintained day after day among many other visits.

The group are officially sanctioned by the Israeli Government and will also be hosted to a dinner by the Minister of Tourism. The Israeli Police also cooperates with the group so that participants are treated to the best information available.

"Decision makers are beginning to take the threat of terror seriously," says Bradman " this is a War and we must maintain the training level of our forces. Trying to shadow box with this enemy is not an option and will only encourage attacks. The harder our targets are made against potential attacks, the safer we will be."

The company charges just $3900 for a package that provides everything from Newark and back including travel, hotel, food, training, and transportation.

"We feel that having a cadre of First Responders that have truly seen what it takes to safeguard our country will go back to their agencies and convert others to this know-how. This will make the country safer and less vulnerable so we see this not just as a business but as something vital to national security."

Participants in the program are either qualifed First Responders or Qualified Professional Security personnel. States that have sent people on this training include; New York, California, Illinois, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and many more.
