This exercise will be used to complement the classroom based learning and provide a tangible output for the week.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Conduct a basic threat and risk assessment and confidently present results to decision makers.
- Identify priorities in a protection program.
- Build an integrated security program considering buildings, security systems and personnel.
- Present and discuss protection issues in a professional manner with consultants or engineers.
- The course will make extensive use of case studies and unique experiences of M.I.P. Security personnel in a variety of threat
- incidents and projects around the globe will be discussed.
There is an option for this course to be held in Israel where course attendees will be invited to observe live explosive testing and will extend their case study work by visiting sites of terrorist attacks.

Construction methods and materials
Threats, weapons and their utilization in improving security.
Understanding and determining the risks to people and structures
Case studies of past attacks
- Methodology for risk & threat analysis (+ practical)
- Methodology for red teaming
The presenter is an expert in the holistic approach employed in Israel. This ensures that buildings and campuses under proper
security have innovative security solutions which are highly effective but usually inconspicuous.
The Presenter has carried out risk and threat analysis, protection planning, engineering, project management and security personnel training for global customers including Pfizer, Intel, Citigroup, BHP Billiton, and many other corporations and governments in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
He is a veteran of Israel’s Intelligence services and holds many patents for Security related innovative products.
