SSI provides a broad range of training and consulting services pertaining to counter terrorism operations. Our instructors have unsurpassed levels of operational, intelligence and combat experience as operators, leaders and trainers. Their extensive experience was gained over years of operational service with some the finest military and law enforcement special operations organizations in the world. Each instructor is individually chosen on the basis of acquired skills, knowledge, experience and instructional capabilities from US, UK, EU, Israel, Australia and other nations' special operations units. Our instructors remain current through operational consulting and service around the world.

Course characteristics including duration, subjects and objectives are flexible and will be determined in light of the client's specific needs, operating environment and experience level. We emphasize teaching not only TTPs, but also training methodology for a more effective integration of our experience in your own future training in relevant subjects.

INSTRUCTIONAL METHODS

Classroom material is presented in a dynamic environment and encourages student participation.

The majority of course time will be focused on hands-on practical application of techniques with an emphasis placed on force-on-force scenario training.

Planning and practical exercises will be conducted to ensure applicability to the customer's situation and operational reality.

Course syllabi are flexible and will be adjusted to fit the customer's specific requirements, operational environment and experience level.

5 day course minimum preferred but can be adjusted to accommodate the needs of the client.


SWAT Counter Terror Operations and Explosive Threat Mitigation (SWCT201)

This course of training provides an overview of skills and knowledge crucial to dealing with politically and religiously motivated terrorists. The course builds on existing LE techniques and procedures while adding aspects required for successful domestic counter terrorism operations. The course can be conducted in both a basic and an advanced format based on the experience level of the client.

Inside the Mind (IMIN202)

The ultimate training to detect, prevent and respond to acts of terror .

To combat terrorism, you must be able to see yourself as terrorists see you. To accomplish this, you must work inside the mind of terrorists. This program, based on classroom and tactical training as well as full scale exercises accomplishes this for Terrorism early watch groups, Anti-Terrorism personnel, Homeland Security personnel, SWAT teams and Intelligence units of all kinds.


SMART School (SMSC203)

This program is a half-day classroom and half-day shooting range for three full days.

The mornings cover the definition of the threat, detection, prevention, CPTED and response modes for an active shooter or terror incident.

In the afternoon, qualified personnel are instructed in very fast and efficient shooting techniques that go way beyond common point shooting. Based on techniques practiced by Special Ops units in Israel, in response to incidents of terror in public places, this will cover Physical, mental and correct muscle movement for accurate fast shooting; Moving through crowds and shooting; Stopping quickly and shooting; Shooting accurately from behind barriers and Krav Maga techniques to disarm shooters


High Risk Terrorist Arrest Operations (HRTA204)

This course of training provides the skills and techniques crucial in the arrest of politically and religiously motivated terrorists. It builds on existing criminal high risk warrant service techniques while adding those aspects required in dealing with terrorist threats. The course can be conducted in both a basic and an advanced format based on the experience level of the client.

Night Vision/IR for Low Signature Operations (LWIR205)

The primary subject of this course is the operational use of near range IR technology. Additionally, the course touches on the incorporation of two collateral subjects: stealth movement and suppressed weapon tactics. The successful operational integration of the use of NODs to maximize surprise during mission execution inside a structure in extreme low light conditions and total darkness.

Suicide Terrorist Interdiction Operations (STIO206)

OBJECTIVE: This course is designed to provide the client with a variety of tools required for the tactical interdiction of suicide terrorists. Though the focus in on tactical interdiction operations, the training offers synergetic solutions and addresses active and passive security measures, intelligence operations, tactical operations and scene management. The course is conducted by instructors with first hand global experience in combating suicide terrorism.

In Extremis Terrorist Hostage Rescue  (ETHR207)

OBJECTIVE: This course of training provides the skills and techniques crucial in the rescue of hostages held by politically and religiously motivated terrorists. The focus is on TTPs relevant to units that will be first responders to a terrorist incident and may be required to implement an emergency rescue before the arrival of Federal organizations with the HR mission mandate. The curriculum builds on existing criminal hostage rescue techniques while adding those aspects unique to the terrorist threat. In addition to hostage rescue assaults, topics include procedures that comprise the intelligence and tactical preparation of the operational area for HR and measures to facilitate the integration of external and supporting assets. The course is conducted in both a basic and an advanced format based on the experience level of the client.

This course will train prospective and serving precision riflemen in tactics, techniques and procedures critical to the success of counter terrorism operations. The focus is on urban operations and the unique challenges that urban terrain present to the sniper and the tactical team. The course is offered as a basic qualification course and as an advanced course for serving precision riflemen.
