SSI (Security Solutions
International) is launching tours to Israel for First Responders
beginning in February of 2005. The tours, organized by the Israeli
office of SSI and overseen by SSI's US experience, will provide
customized itineraries for First Responders. The first tours are
expected to be for law enforcement personnel. The participants will
certainly visit the Holy Sites in Jerusalem and Nazareth but
everyday of the 7 day tour is packed with lectures, visits to
locations and training.
Among many options, law enforcement
personnel will learn the Israeli shooting theories at a range used
by the police, learn how to identify terrorists and read their body
language (the same course taken by the Israeli police) and visit
many command centers and actual borders where counter-terror
measures are in place. Tours for Emergency managers will feature
other programs such as learning in detail about Israel's WMD and
Bioterrorism population evacuation strategies. The tours offer law
enforcement personnel a first-hand look at the Israeli experience
and all participants will receive certification from SSI on
completion of their tours.
