HOMELAND SECURITY TRAINING IN ISRAEL - APPLICATION Print E-mail
Thank you for your interest in our Homeland Security Training in Israel Program.

These are the instructions for participation in the Training in Israel Visit to Israel in 2006 scheduled to leave on:

November 3rd, 2006

However, all registrants must know that we will require full registration not later than 45 days before the departure dates.

The full price - subject to change due to seasonal factor and fuel surcharges - is $3900.00.

If you are interested, please complete the PDF form available here for you to download.

1. Missions sell out fast and are limited in numbers so that confirmation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. DO NOT BOOK your inter-city flights to the departure destination until we notify you of our exact departure times at least 45 days before our departure to Israel. As soon as we have all the signed forms in, we can confirm the departure. This confirmation, enabling you to book your flights, will be sent to you no later than 45 days before departure. This will specify the exact flight numbers, city of departure and time of departure and all return information.

In addition, we will also be sending you contact information, hotel information, emergency contact numbers and all final itinerary details on that date.

3. Please return the enclosed forms as soon as possible to expedite the confirmation process.

4. No later than 30 days before departure, you must either pay for the tour in full or provide an official agency commitment to pay for the tour specifying when your agency will pay for the tour. Any cancellation after that date will mean forfeiting the entire amount paid - $3900.00 per person. If you cancel before the expiry date, there will be no penalty, even if you pay now.

5. We will be giving you a meeting designation area and time for the date of departure so that we can all meet before take-off and security procedures. This is likely to be 1 hour before flight take off because most international flights today require a two-hour ahead book-in. We will be assigning room shares at this time if this is applicable. If you are travelling with someone else and want to share with that person, please indicate this on your form. Please plan to attend this meeting before departure.

6. SSI personnel will be accompanying the visit at all points and will do their utmost to ensure that you have a valuable and very enjoyable time.

7. Weather in Israel can be cold in the winter and extremely hot in July/ August with mild weather in between. We recommend taking comfortable clothing - Israelis are very informal about dress. Please avoid identifying articles of clothing such as tee-shirts with your unit names, police caps or other when you are traveling around Israel if you are on your own.

When we are on official visits to Ports, Airports, etc. you are encouraged to wear these if you want to. You are not required to be in uniform at any time during the tour.

8. Please feel free to call me with any questions you may have. I am always available on
my mobile: 305-401-6906.
